Your electric bill is one of the few costs you cannot opt out of. You are going to spend that money whether you like it or not, so the only real question is whether you have anything to show for it at the end.

We install rooftop and ground-mounted residential systems across San Antonio, Cibolo and South Texas. The system is sized around your actual usage and your actual roof, not around how many panels will fit, and we tell you what it will produce before you buy it.

The argument that does not expire

Utility rates are not going down. A grid-tied system feeds your house first and sends the surplus to the grid, so you save twice: on the power you stop buying, and on what the utility credits you for the power you send back. Once the system is paid for, that is your rate, locked, for as long as it runs — and grid-tied solar is close to maintenance free and lasts for decades.

Incentives change, and they change without much notice. Rebate programmes and tax credits exist to jump-start an industry, so they shrink over time and occasionally disappear. We will tell you exactly what is available to you at the time we quote, rather than quoting you a number from a brochure printed three years ago. That is a specific, checkable thing to ask any installer for.

We handle the parts you would rather not

The utility rebate application, the city permit, the inspection and the HOA submittal are all ours. Texas law restricts what a homeowners' association can do about a roof-mounted solar system, and we have taken that argument on more than once. It is consistently the thing customers mention afterwards: "they handled everything, and I do mean everything."

What a house needs to be a good candidate

Enough unshaded roof facing roughly the right way, a roof with enough life left in it that you are not going to take the panels off again in three years, and an electrical service the system can connect to. Where the roof does not work, a ground mount often does.

Some properties genuinely are not good candidates because of shading or architecture. If yours is one of them we will say so, and we will say so before you have spent anything. Occasionally somebody wants to go ahead anyway, which is fine — but the production guarantee will not apply to a system we have told you is compromised, and we will put that in writing too.

Financing

There are $0 down options, and we have finance arrangements through credit unions and banks as well as a one-year same-as-cash option in-house. Long term or short term, the idea is the same: let the system pay for itself while you own it.
